The relationship of safety trainings on the performance evaluation of Shiraz municipal waste management organization employees

Abstract
One of the strategies for preventing accidents is the safety training of employees, which will be the first condition for the survival of the organization. The purpose of the current research was to determine the relationship between safety training and performance evaluation of Shiraz Municipal Waste Management Organization employees. The present descriptive-survey research was conducted in 1400. The statistical population of this research was 197 employees of Shiraz Municipal Waste Management Organization. The research sample was calculated by simple random sampling equal to 130 people. The tool used in this research was the questionnaire of safety training and employee performance evaluation. Statistical analysis was done using SPSS20 software and the relationship between variables was done using single t test. The reliability of these tools was obtained according to Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to 0.89 and 0.78 respectively. The results showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between safety and employee performance at the 0.0001 level, so it can be said that by improving the safety courses, the performance of employees improves. The amount of R2 showed that safety training can explain about 71.8 percent of changes in employee performance. Based on the significance of the t value in positive change in safety training, 0.849 is obtained in the performance variable. According to the analysis of the results, it can be concluded that the variable dimensions of safety training have the ability to work and mental performance and that safety training has a significant effect on performance.
