Abstract
In a study of three stations including two residential buildings and one outdoor station in the Amirabad region, sampling was conducted. Using a cascade impactor sampler with a constant flow rate of 28.3 liters/minute, in summer and winter intervals, very fine particles were collected and separated. Based on the results obtained for the summer season at Piroozi station, the concentration of particles of 0.4 μm was 0.86 μg/m3, which is 1.25% by weight of the total PM collected. For Tehransar station, this value was about 0.37 μg/m3, which is equal to 0.5% by weight of the total PM collected. which was significantly different compared to the results of the Amirabad station as an outdoor pilot sample. In this study, the concentration of particles smaller than 0.4 micrometers in the outdoor sample was about 2.88 μg/m3, which is equivalent to 2.04% by weight of the total PM collected. . . .
