Solutions for dealing with the dangers of electromagnetic radiation in military environments (case study: the dangers of the jamming system for micro air vehicles)

In the recent years, Micro air vehicles(MAV) are gaining significant attention in research groups and industries all over the world, due to the blooming number of military and civilian applications, including aerial photography.MAVs promise to revolutionize warfare. For this reason, the need to deal with them is essential for military environments.Therefore, electromagnetic jamming system have been produced to discovering and jamming them. Due to the activity of Micro air vehicles in the S-band and electromagnetic radiation, Jamming systems are considered a risk for the health of military environments and its employees. So solutions are needed to reduce these risks and not harm the health of human resources. In this article, with an environmental evaluation based on the SBM-2015 standard, radiation measurement of the environment with a Jamming system has been done. Also, Necessary solutions for reducing the dangers of electromagnetic radiation have been presented with the output of the evaluations.
